Latin American Caribbean Center (LACC) at Florida International University
LACC is the largest and most comprehensive international studies program at Florida International University (FIU), specializing in the study of Latin America and the Caribbean. As a federally-funded National Resource Center, the center fosters high quality research, education, and outreach programs that build upon the unique assets of the university's inter-American setting. LACC's robust programs span across the disciplines, supporting and enhancing FIU's academic mission.

The Historical Museum of Southern Florida and the Caribbean
The Historical Museum of Southern Florida tells the stories of South Florida and the Caribbean. The museum promotes understanding of the past in order to inform the present and create a better quality of life. The Historical Museum is one of the largest private, regional history museums in the country, recognized for excellence in programming and management by the Florida Department of State and national museum services organizations. The Historical Museum has been accredited by the American Association of Museums since 1979.

MAST Academy
MAST Academy is a Miami-Dade County Public School and School of Choice. MAST is a magnet high school for maritime and science technology. It is located on Virginia Key in Miami. MAST Academy provides a marine setting and nurturing environment for studies leading to academic success, career preparation, appreciation of the sea, and environmental awareness. Stakeholders work together to instill a commitment to life-long learning and to advance and improve a challenging curriculum integrated with the sciences and technology.

The Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility
The mission of the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility is to provide education for civic and social responsibility in a context of academic excellence. The Center is a part of Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania; its goal is to prepare students for leadership in civic engagement, public service, advocacy, and social action. The Lang Center serves as a home base for many activities and programs linking the campus to communities in the U.S. and abroad through service and social action.
